I've been attempting to update my portfolio on and off over the last few months and although there is still more to add, I started the process of posting the pages I have so far! With any luck, this will hopefully enhance my networking and freelance opportunities. Currently there is work in here that spans some of my college career, personal works and freelance jobs.. As it is a continuous work-in-progress please don't hesitate to let me know what you think, I'd love to hear your invaluable thoughts and opinions!! I've put a link below, but it will also be available as a linkable tab in the top right corner of the blog below the header!

HUGE May Update!
Wow! It seems like it's been forever since I've updated my blog.. A lot has happened since then, so hopefully I can update a little bit.
I'll have you know that it's only taken a billion years, but I've finally wrapped up the illustrations for what is to be my second published children's book. I feel very thankful and appreciative to have been working my last couple projects under this publishing company. It's never what I could have envisioned, but it It's been a fun, unknown road to walk down and hopefully it will open more doors in the future. I am excited to see how the end result looks in all of its finalized glory, but until then I am equally as excited to move on to other ventures and opportunities. I have a couple things lined up and I will be trying to stay on top of my shop website and portfolio as well as continuing to accept any potential freelance opportunities. Thank you all for your continued support, it never goes overlooked!
Secondly, here are some sketches and doodles you may have missed
As well, I was recently selected to showcase my works at the upcoming RAW event in Hollywood on Saturday, June 7th. Below is a personalized advertisement page for the RAWartists event that I am going to be showcased in. It's bound to be a blast. There is going to be a menagerie of inspiring and talented artists displaying talents ranging from visual art and fashion to live music and film. It's going to be located at Boulevard 3, a supremely nifty venue that's bound to keep things fun and classy. Here is an official FB link to the event: https://www.facebook.com/events/556494104449045/
I would absolutely love to see you all there as I will be displaying and selling my artwork.. If you are interested in attending, you can buy tickets at the link below for $15. If you click on the link with my name to purchase tickets, it will automatically place you on the guest list both at the venue and in my heart. It is well worth the price to attend this overloaded art bonanza and I look forward to seeing you at my booth! I will be selling some framed and un-framed prints there and will have a card reader so both cash and card will be accepted!

I will keep you all informed as news gets sent my way.. Please let me know if you have any questions!

A King's Birthday
Ah, another birthday for my dad.. Another reason to give him a random hand illustrated card. It's always fun to do these sketches for him because he encourages the random and irreverent!

iam8bit "Everybody's A Somebody" Gallery Opening!
Wow!! What a wonderful turnout for the iam8bit "Mr. Men/ Little Miss" show tonight!! It was seriously amazing how they completely renovated and transformed the gallery. However, none of that mattered more than the fact that I got to see so many friends and family coming through to show their support. I am beyond humbled and thank you all so much. You mean the world to me!! Anyway, I thought since the show has officially ended, I would go ahead and post my submission:
Name: A Little Lineup
Size: 14" x 31" (w/o frame)
Medium: Pencil/Digital
I decided to go a bit of a different route and do a more realistic interpretation of some of the colorful characters from the series using their color schemes and props to give them their individual flair. Enjoy!
Go and visit the gallery over at 2147 W. Sunset, it should be staying open 'til the first week of Sept. Enjoy!

Girl at the bar
I apologize for the lack of posting as of late. The good news is, I have been neck deep illustrating what is to be my first published children's book. Although I can't reveal anything from it yet, just know that things are cooking in the kitchen.
I did, however, take a little trip up north and found a little time to do some light sketching. Here's a sketch of a girl at a bar I did in San Francisco.

Waiting for Fishes
Like so many of my talented colleagues out there, one of my main goals as of late is attempting to compile and organize my collected illustrations over the past few years into a volume of sorts to be printed into a book. I did a mockup of a tentative cover page based off an old idea I had long ago. The title seemed appropriate too, because so much of being an artist is casting your line out and seeing what bites. Anyway, I'd love to know what you all think and to see if this collection would be something you may be willing to purchase.

First Sight
A little sketch up I got going for a personal side illustration.. The lady and her dog was an afterthought, but I'm thinking about keepin' em in.
